DP Analyst
We are looking for a DP Analyst to join the Data Processing team at Colmar Brunton. Ideally, we are looking for someone with 2-3 years experience working in a dp team in a market research environment and some experience using Surveycraft, Converso, Dimensions or Toolbox as well as Access and Excel.
However, if you know of a graduate who has some knowledge and is a fast learner in the following areas, they will be seriously considered.
- Basic programming knowledge (e g . C+ languages)
- Knowledge of databases, data collection and manipulation as you will be expected to set-up online surveys
- A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel but also Word and Access
- Knowledge of databases, data collection
- An understanding of basic HTML, JavaScript (general web design skills)
- Photoshop or similar graphics package would be preferred but not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
- High attention to detail and must have an analytical and logical approach
- You will need to be able to work in a close team environment, demonstrate a positive approach and be open to learning
Qualitative Researchers
We are looking for someone exceptional to join our Qualitative research team. The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 3 years experience in qualitative research combined with the X factor that turns insightful research and smart thinking into inspiration.
You will need to have a passion for business and seeing our clients succeed – people with an innovative and creative approach to reporting and presenting.
The successful candidate should be:
- A graduate in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Communications, Semiotics, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Have at least 2 years Qualitative Research experience in New Zealand.
- Enjoys analysing and will delve into the depths to find out what makes people tick.
- Is proficient in MS office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills would be useful.
- Has exceptional organisational skills, can think ahead and be proactive.
- Is an active learner who can work independently AND be a good team player.
- Can work under pressure, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Is well presented with a professional and polished manner.
